Still have a dwell tachometer in a box in the garage somewhere. Timing light, too. Such fun taking that stuff to the dragstrip to play with the timing advance between runs, and packing ice on the manifold around the carb.don't forget to adjust the ignition points .. LOL
What I meant by that is I keep them indoors since the garage gets hot in the summer and the inside house temp is steady. Either way, I think you're right. Time to take them out to the desert and put a few rounds in themYou might want to read the label... I don't think it will stabilize cabinets whether they are indoors or out.
Yep, CANbus and all. I try not to get in too deep when making a quick explanation. Not even that connected.
The pedal goes to the computer. The computer drives the throttle body. How much and when is only vaguely related to pedal position. Especially when cold.
Ya know— I think it actually will remove laundry stains. ?I still have a can or two. Not sure what to do with them! I think they are in the laundry cabinet indoors for stability.
Sorry I was just giving you a hard time. I do like the target practice idea though. What I meant by that is I keep them indoors since the garage gets hot in the summer and the inside house temp is steady. Either way, I think you're right. Time to take them out to the desert and put a few rounds in them![]()
HA! Love it . . . glad I’m not the only one posting pics like this!Pressing the throttle does nothing for startup. The ECU takes control and your input from the throttle means nothing until the ECU receives the signal that the engine is running. Thus, the reason why the starter disengages as opposed to keep on trying to start it.
As for old stuff, I like extra carbs when working on my carbs.

Those will be the only vehicles running after the big ones drop...... Ill be down to a 4wd Kabota Tractor and a John Deer zero turn. The Kabota is great off road come to think of it.....don't forget to adjust the ignition points .. LOL
It's always a fine line. What's "enough" and what is "too much"? I like to hit the major high points without getting into too much detail.Yep, CANbus and all. I try not to get in too deep when making a quick explanation.
Some guy busted my chops in another thread for not writing a dissertation on a different topic. I’ve come to realize though, that most people just want to know so much.
EMP Shield.com- home/vehicles/RV- about the size of an old voltage regulator but heavy. Work as claimed or snake oil? Wont know until the big one drops, lightning strikes, or a Big sun flare. $937, home and 2 vehicles. Those will be the only vehicles running after the big ones drop...... Ill be down to a 4wd Kabota Tractor and a John Deer zero turn. The Kabota is great off road come to think of it.....
Going to look into that one.EMP Shield.com- home/vehicles/RV- about the size of an old voltage regulator but heavy. Work as claimed or snake oil? Wont know until the big one drops, lightning strikes, or a Big sun flare. $937, home and 2 vehicles.
Looked it up, price is from 8/21 and had an un-recalled discount. @https://www.empshield.com/emp-technology/. I just had to look it up, new 78% smaller vehicle unitGoing to look into that one.
$858 for 2, that of course I bought. ( I have vehicles for the old large ones)The bores are covered, so I can't be sure, but that looks like a 4500 Dominator...?HA! Love it . . . glad I’m not the only one posting pics like this!
I can give you a bunch of ideas on how to use them. Sure, some say those ideas are recklessly dangerous but what to they know about having fun?I still have a can or two. Not sure what to do with them! I think they are in the laundry cabinet indoors for stability.
