hello everyone so i have a 2020 JLUR with the 2.0 liter engine and the 8 speed auto. anyways i did a partial tranny fluid change a couple months ago because it was getting up there (60k miles) and ever since then it hasn't shifted the smoothest i thought maybe i didn't fill it up properly but I'm like 85% sure i did it correctly not like terribly rough just like when i accelerate there's harshness when shifting from 2-3 or i have to gun it to merge or something it'll kind of slam down to a lower gear any ways none of this was to extremely concerning to me so i didn't bother to investigate it further. anyways around that same time i started using 87 fuel instead of 91 because the manual said it was ok so on so fourth. so anyways i recently put 91 in it and i don't know if I'm going crazy or not buts its shifting noticeable smoother, not smoot as glass but much much smoother and more coherent than before. so I'm wondering if the 91 fuel is doing this and if so how is this possible how does this different fuel make it shift so much smoother not sure if it matters but i put Exxon synergy supreme +.
