After 60,000 miles its time to replace my brakes. Im looking at the PowerStop Z36 kit. Ive been told slotted and drilled are a bad idea due to the sand and mud so Im looking at the standard rotors. Where Im getting confused is my model is a Sport Altitude with the factory HD brake kit. Its my understanding that I should be selecting the Rubicon / Sahara kit.

Can anyone confirm this is the right kit and that I should in fact stay away from the slotted and drilled rotors?

While I can't verify the products you're looking for, I just installed the Z36 pads on my Rubicon last weekend. Excellent bite and much easier to modulate than the stock pads. I highly recommend them.
