Power Step Running boards

The passenger Power Step running board is randomly opening and closing while driving, sometimes even in garage when engine is off. We have a ‘22 JL Rubicon Recon with owner installed running boards. They worked flawlessly for past 12 months until about a month ago and only passenger running board is doing this. We cleaned and oiled them but no improvement

On mine there is a module mounted in the passenger side kick panel that caused that issue for me until I went in and checked the connections
