Does that jounce look like it’s removable? At least the gray part - from the pics it looks like some sort of spacer/insert.
The dildozer is welded in. I don’t know about the rubber bump stop, I didn’t see your message in time and the new springs are in. I have to imagine it's attached somehow; it's clearly not part of the metal tube. It does flex out fully with the dildozer in place, and 37s on. I only used one 1” bump stop spacer from the kit. I’ll check with a forklift before taking it out wheeling to verify that is sufficient.

Those rat bastards.....

Ordered (dealer says 6-8 weeks delivered) - 7/29
Sticker - 9/13
Dealer says "2-3 weeks delivery" - 9/13
Dealer says "4-5 weeks delivery" - 9/24

you know I don't mind the wait....but I do mind the "extensions"!!!!!!!!! I also hate the fact I can get info from the net faster and more consistent the damn dealer. Order a roll of toilet paper and I know when it's "3 delivery stops away". Order a Jeep and they are like like "Hmmmmmmmm...we can't tell you anything"
I know the feeling... Supposed to be here this week per dealer, jc says 9/28-10/12

I did the same thing - through the ceiling.

Can I get a pic of how you did your bike hoist? I'm about to install 2 bike hoists and I wasn't sure I would be able to fit them next to the door like that.

I haven't seen anyone install like that before, maybe I was not paying attention, but I love it!
Went cheap and easy. @vduc1098 looks way nicer/cleaner. $99 harbor freight hoist, 2-10’ straps $20 and a few carabiners and I’m good. Took about 30 minutes. Already had power in the attic. Totally ripped off what @Jeepeto does with a small change.

The bike is actually hanging on the wall. I have about 2’ from the wall to my door track and it works out great. You just have to be careful of tire marks on the wall when taking the bike on and off.
This is the link to the mount I used:

I had too much time on my hands waiting for my XR to come in lol. I have low ceilings and since I will be storing the top on a dolly I wanted to make it almost invisible when not in use. I ended up getting a hoist with a wireless remote from Walmart online and run the cable through a trap door in the ceiling.
