i wouldn’t worry to much. It could be something as simple as the line where your Jeep is headed next is backed up which is why it still shows in F simply because it can’t move forward, not bc it had an issue with the paint.
I also believe they do the same escalation when your build hits the 10 weeks in D status. I got the same info about it being escalated and prioritized (ordered 7/10). I do know an axle shortage or issue has held up builds and last weekend some shifts were canceled as well.

Day 14 in paint. Our JLUR XR has been in 'paint' for over two weeks now.

6 October F paint
25 September D1 gateline
23 August VIN
18 August Ordered
I wasn't checking everyday back in the first week in October it may have arrived in paint sooner, but we have been told it has been in paint since then.


So, this morning this was awaiting in my inbox: I don't see any actually information on where the Jeep is in the process, but perhaps soon someone will actually find her and let us know. I doubt I'll ever know how long she was in paint, nor why, if she was actually there all this time. As others have pointed out she is likely just lost within the system.

Another step closer, just got word this morning my jeep was loaded on a truck headed to Eastern Pennsylvania. With a little luck it should be on the dealers lot Monday Morning :clap:

I am buying my 2nd Rubicon from Craig at Koons in Virginia. I am ~$7k under msrp. Waiting on delivery of my XR. I am also in NY. Last time we drove down, this time we plan on flying down to get it.
I placed my order in early August from Craig at Koons Tysons . So far it's been a good experience dealing with them (6% below inv). He's been great about responding promptly to email, and clearly answering all of my questions. The only bad thing about all of this is the long wait (not his fault) for my new Rubi, which I expected.

How was your experience at Koons? Did you feel pressured to purchase extended warranty, or other finance office offerings?

Glad to hear that you had a good experience at Koons, without pressure . Thanks for letting me know. I've been to Jeep Chat a few times and I've been checking Cryptostickers.net at least two times daily. Maintaining patience hasn't been easy, but in the meantime, the value of my potential trade in has risen over the past several weeks, so that's some consolation. I'll probably go with dealer financing (at least for a few months)to take advantage of an extra $1K off. The Koons family has been around the NoVa/Washington DC area for as long as I can remember. As far as I know they have an pretty good reputation. My mom actually purchased a Chevy Suburban from JKJ (John Koons Jr) Chevrolet back in the 80s. The JKJ showroom building (right around the corner from Koons Tysons CJDR) and dealer are still there under a different name.
