Heading out to Black Gap Trail in Big Bend next week for my Jeep's first of many off-roading adventures. Does anyone have any recommendations for a dependable portable air compressor. I'm currently running 35" tires

Trail Recon had an interesting YouTube vid on inflation options. IMO it’s worth looking at. I’m now considering a tank instead of a compressor.

Thanks for sharing this. It is pretty interesting for sure when you consider the time spent to air up over a year. The tank is not a bad idea, but I'm not so sure I would like having to charge up the tank every so often, and a tank will probably take up more space than that portable Smittybilt (which is what I am considering). Or maybe onboard is better... Don't know yet Hmmmmm....

It's just something to consider in your buying process. I think the biggest advantage to the tank is its ability to re-seat a tire to the wheel.

I have a Viar 300P, and it works great with my 285/70/17's, almost double the cfm as their 88P, but double the price...
