Popping sound when adjusting AC

Any time my Ac kicks in or if I adjust the temperature to be colder I’ll get a popping sound on the drivers side of the car. I have watched the videos on failing blend door actuators, but mines a distinct popping sound. It’s really driving me crazy and of course the dealership says it’s normal. Any thoughts on what it could be?

My AC has a 18 second delay from nothing to high when I turn it on…. They say it’s normal as well. ?
