Bought a $5 bottle of plastidip on amazon and it was super easy to do. First time I had ever done this. I like the look since it matches the black fenders and bumpers. Debating of doing the rims too, but not sure of durability.

Watch a bunch of YouTube videos on it. I recommend the DipYourCar channel, it's the company that makes the spray and they have a lotnfl videos with tips and how to do it. It's super easy to do

That looks sweet! Simple mod but satisfying to look at.

Use painters tape to outline the spray area. Keep spraying lightly over the emblem every 15-20 minutes. After 5 times you can just peel it off and use a tweezer or small flat edge to get the inside the letters.

On my JK I did my emblem, trail rated badge , bolts on gas tank door and wheels. I echo the above around watching YouTube videos from dipyourcar. Lots of really light coats, especially the first couple, you really donā€™t want to completely cover on the early coats. To remove the dip from the middle of the Jeep emblems, I found a wooden toothpick worked well and didnā€™t scratch the paint. Iā€™d considered dipping the badges on my JLUR, but am holding off for now.

How does it stick to the Jeep emblem and not the painted panel surface? Weird and cool at the same time...

How well did the plastidip hold up on the wheels?

It becomes a pliable rubber film when dry so you can peel it off your body panels. Since the emblems are beveled it rips cleanly around them.

Pretty well, itā€™s also really easy to touch up if it gets scratched. Iā€™d recommend more coats on the wheels than anywhere else. I did like 8-10 and touched it up a few times. Taking the wheels off the Jeep definitely helps get an even coat.

Iā€™ve done wheels on several cars in the past 6-7 years. It will hold up great as long as you take your time doing it. I always use 4 cans for a set of wheels. Did our JL this past weekend- and my Tacomaā€™s wheels I did two years ago, and still looks good.
