While the left lane is simultaneously the "fast" lane being the passing lane, that doesn't mean you could do whatever speed you want. Speed should always be proportional to traffic. If you're in a 65 MPH zone, the slowest cars to the right are 60ish, fastest in the left are consistently 80-85ish, you're the asshole when you come whizzing by at 90+. Speed should always be proportional to traffic and that applies to both fast + slow driving.

Excessive speed for many years was the number one cause of accidents. It's number two these days thanks to cell phones.

Except in Indiana, where, in my experience, the goal is to drive the same speed as the person in the lane next to you for as long as possible.
You perfectly described a Swift driver....and a Werner driver.

I'm a big fan of the person who will floor it when a turn signal comes on to try and close any gap. Also have a special place in my heart for those who can't zipper merge every other on a two to one lane onramp.

If we are only talking about drivers/driving: people who think left turns are this shallow angle that cuts through the other lanes. I’ve had to brake check to many times to keep from loosing the front of my vehicle.

We have that in my town and the surrounding ones. I don't know if everyone drops Ambien and burns one down before getting in their cars around here.

I call it the Rolling Roadblock and it's the #2 reason I want to own a tank.
