I’m at a loss. While cleaning the winter salt off today, I noticed the scratches in the below picture.

Any idea what in the heck could have caused these perfectly circular scratches on the inside of my passenger side glass? There are at least 12 partial circles I can see. Just noticed them today. Jeep is only 2 months old. I haven’t had anything in the front seat that could have caused this.

I don’t think so. They are all the exact same size. And literally perfect circles. The only two people in my passenger seat are my son and my girlfriend. Neither wear rings.

You’d have to check for sure but first thing that comes to mind are those suction cup glass movers. Size seems similar. Happen at manufacturing?

I was thinking that might be a possibility. I sent the photo to the dealership I use for service too. I wasn’t sure if the size of the circles were right though

If I recall, if you pull your outer door panel there are two “screws” that you tighten to hold your glass in place when releasing the inner panel. I suspect these screws may be partially engaged. Dealer trip….

If those weren’t engaged I don’t think the window would go up and down.
