Took a really good look out again the bumper matches the cow, but only the re

It's also the fenders, but it's only noticeable when the fender is directly facing you and the sunlight is directly behind. From the angle when I took the picture, if I moved half a step to the right or left, it was not noticeable, not even the cowl.
I noticed a while back that my cowls and fenders appear a slightly different shade than everything else. I assumed that it was because of the film covering them, but I could be wrong. Not nearly as far off as yours for sure.

That looks way off. I have the same color and the paint match is perfect.
I agree with Skybox - I have the same color - match is perfect in all light(sun-dark whatever) . My jeep was built in Jan 2019.

Granite is a nice color I was considering it but could not find one with the options I wanted at the time. Curious what was the build date of your JL?
Build date 12/18

Are you aware that the Bright White grill, along with the grill molding on the driver's side has been known to yellow. Quite a few forum member's, to include myself, had to have the issue dealt with under warranty. Yellowing on a Bright White, JL is not normal but a know issue.

Yes I was actually involved in a couple of posts in that thread. However I haven’t been up to date with that thread since the last time I read it, members were struggling to get warranty service. Just took a peek and looks like you finally can. How’s yours holding up?

Just did a quick zip through the granite crystal pic thread. The close-ups i saw in direct sunlight looked fine. I gotta tell ya i am very excited to get my first jeep but if the paint looks like that they can keep it and order me another. Or give me my 1,000 deposit back and ill be on my way.

As you may have read in that thread, back in July 2018, the General Manager at my dealership, did me a solid, and actually pulled a grill and driver's side molding off of a newly arrived Bright White they had just received at their dealership... he had those pieces installed on my Bright White, JL and all was covered under warranty.

So far, those pieces have not yellowed.... we will see how they do in the future....

I believe they will probably yellow when faced with more hot Summer days.

IF so, I will get a Grill painted to match my bumper and black trim and the driver's molding I will have painted Bright White.

2021 Jeep JL Willys-Granite Crystal Metallic
When picking up my Granite Crystal Metallic JLUR yesterday from the dealer, I noticed that the paint wasn't consistent in certain parts. After I pointed it out to salesperson and the service manager, we looked at the other Granites and they were the same as this. I know the dealer just received the jeep the night before and I was able to inspect it before PDI.

Anyone know why it's like that? And any other colors look like this? We didn't look at the other colors.

BTW it's only noticeable in direct sunlight.

My 2021 granite looks just like yours and only in sunlight. I’m sure it’s the material. I heard they made the cowl out of different material from my jK I used to own so if your door snaps you don’t get those infamous cowl dimples. I hate it but the color is sooooo pretty. My jk use to be white and I hated it so much because after you cleaned it about 2-3 days later it looked yellow tinged and I’ve seen many white JLUs with the same thing happening. Jeep needs better paint period that’s their downfall.

I have a 2022 one arriving in the next month, I will post a photo of the same area to see how they have improved/regressed with paint quality.

Still an issue ... pic of my 2024 (built 11/22/23). Dealer offered to repaint the cowls (only part with the issue) but then in the shade the cowls would look a different color but match in the direct sunlight.
