So I just replaced a faulty O2 sensor (Bank 2/ Sensor 2) and it fixed my main issue but now I am getting P2096 (downstream fuel trim system 1 lean) and P0171 (fuel system 1/1 lean). These seem to be coming from bank 1, the opposite side of where I was having an issue. Could a bad O2 sensor on one side cause the other side to then have issues?

I have read that it might be worth resetting the TCM after replacing an O2 sensor but I am not convinced. Anyone experienced this before?

Reset the PCM's fuel trim adaptives. They'll re-learn on their own but will take a bit.
