Quick (and possible noob question): I replaced my intake, and in the process of taking the stock one off, I unplugged the O2 sensor (via the harness), before removing from the air tube. I did NOT disconnect the battery before doing this. I then reasseblmed the new intake and reconnected everything.

Question: Is there something I need to reset because i unplugged the O2 sensor like this? If so, whats the process for that.

FWIW: I don't notice and real difference in the engine or anything.

What makes you think it needs a reset, do you have some type of error message ?

Nothing more than I had heard it while watching some videos and seeing some posts. Haven't seen any error messages.

O2 sensor in the intake? I'm not sure of that as they are typically in the exhaust but if you did not turn the key on when you did it there should not be any feedback to the ECU to detect anything was even done.

I'm sure he meant mass air flow sensor....but op should be fine. It does not need reset. Only issue is that if the cone filter is oiled, it might end up burning faster and a dry filter

Which is exactly what you get with a $300 aftermarket intake on these vehicles - nothing.
That wasn't what my comment referenced. I meant that I didn't noticed any problems with the engine that would suggest poor performance due to the fact that I may have unplugged the sensor incorrectly.

In fact, I do like the intake. Has a nicer sound to the engine on the lower revs side. MPG has increased by about 1-2MPG but time will tell.

You're fine if you disconnected the mass air sensor and didn't turn the key on (or shall I say "push the button".. If you did, most likely the engine light would be on for a few drive cycles and eventually clear. It will only look at that sensor with the ignition on.

That's just an intake temperature sensor. The pentastar doesn't have a MAF, it has an intake temperature sensor and a MAP sensor from which it calculates air density.

Im sure it's fine or your engine wouldn't work well, let alone start properly/at all.
