Starting tearing the jeep apart. I’ll start a write up to show the progress. Probably a month job for my schedule right now.

Put a couple of hours in today. Just undressed the clunker.

Removed bumper/skid plate/winch.
Removed grill. Headlights. Radiator support bracket deal.

I’ll list parts and tools I need as I go.

I would never attempted this without this gem of a vid

Still super annoyed an engine with only 28k on it popped but no biggie. I’ll get it done.

Random question. Power steering fluid reservoir is empty. That prob 100% mean I have a leak? Or just top it off and send it?

both. It went somewhere, but oh well. 5 years to lose 1/2cup of fluid? Not worth the effort to repair honestly.

have you ever checked it before? They’re always low.

Fun stuff today.
Started tearing it down where I didn’t have enough space to flip the hood. Had to put it together. Move it. Flip hood and then move it to where I wanted to work on it.

Intended to leave the bumper on but the dang jeep is too tall to get to shit with it on.

Found empty power steering fluid and a fucking mouse party. The heat shield on the hood was used for there needs. But they have been evicted and they seemed to take care of the wires and didn’t chew them.

Onward. Prob a very leisurely 4 hours of work to get there.

I need the parts guru on the board. Power steering is leaking from one of these lines. Just need to prob pop in a new o ring. I can’t find a parts diagram for it. Pic of the lines.
