Haven’t seen anyone run them on the JLs. But on jk forums people love them. I’m personally waiting for ox to release a locker for the m220. Planning on beefing up my m186 and m220 a bit and run ox front and rear.

Example of one being installed on an m200. I do wonder where to find the m186 lsd though as I’d wanna run something similar. Not sure I’d need a front locker.

I would want electric but honestly running a physical connection seems like the most reliable way. Not to mention easiest assuming we don’t have to drill into the body.
From past cable actuation experience (non axle related) I’d personally worry about seizing in the sleeve and especially binding during flexing.

As far as the cables, they should be OK.
The real trick is to keep them out of harms way and keep them away from the exhaust and other heat sources under the Jeep

My electric actuated/cable Ox locker worked perfectly last week. I didn’t wait to have traction issues to engage it when it was mostly straight movements. No traction issues up a 33° rocky hill or in a mud trough I had to go through. These tires are great too so far so there’s that factor to consider. Works as advertised.
