Haven’t driven with it yet. The metal is rock-solid. Zero play. The cutting board has a little play, though, so it might rattle a bit. Will report.

I hope you’re right on it. Alpha Dirt still hasn’t received anything from OAB about my order. I’m crossing my fingers I get it in the next couple of weeks before my trip to Windrock.

Who knows, you might be able to cancel your order with the reseller, and get one right out from Outback.
If so, I’d call that $15 well-spent.
I’ve already done a 5-day wheeling/camping trip at Big Bend NP, cooking out of the back. Worked well enough.
This thing is going to be flat wonderful, though.

Something that should make it even more useful. Uses the space between the stowed table and the tailgate to store cutlery (or tools, depending on what you use your table for). Installs using the hardware that comes with the Trailgater.

I ordered mine direct from outback on 6/13 and i received it on 7/3 Although it may be out of stock he does appear to be shipping them out quite regularly

Why not put the cash into something else? You can get a camping table for like $50 (high end) and still have more space to cut and prep food. This table looks cool...but $350! Dang... so what am I missing?
