And, now that the excitement has worn off, I've compared the sticker to the original order sheet that we had with the dealer back on March 4th. The only thing that has changed is that the base MSRP has gone up $425, all options have stayed the same price. I'll have to wait for the April 2-door Order Guide to be posted to see how much the invoice price has increased.

It'll be interesting to see how long it takes to ship to SoCal. There are several huge rail yards within a two-hour drive of my dealer.
Assuming a 44 day period from order to delivery (which is how long it took AZ Great White's Jeep to arrive), my guess is your Jeep will be delivered to your dealer on Monday, April 19, 2021.

If mine is the same 44 day time line, that would put my Jeep's arrival on May 18, 2021, which, of course, is right in the middle of my 11-day out of town trip helping my daughter move across country. It will be just my luck...

That would be two weeks faster than the email I got from US Customer Care with an estimated delivery the first week of May. 😁

Just finished talking to Jeep Chat and they are telling me it should be to the dealer between April 14 & 28!

And, just got a message from the dealer that the car is expected at the rail yard in the wee hours of April 21st!

So that would be 48 days from your order date or maybe a couple more to get from rail yard to your dealer. I know you can't wait!

Well, I have some more news. Just learned that my Jeep moved to D1 status and it has an estimated shipping date of 4/27/21, so that is 24 days from order to "estimated shipping date." We all know that date is unreliable but it is at least nice to see a date in black and white. Here are the two screen shots of the Priced Order Confirmation ("POC"), first page showing basics and the second page showing the options.

Got a call from the sales manager yesterday afternoon (April 19) that Ruby is due to the Mira Loma rail yard on Wednesday (April 21), then should take another couple of days to get to the dealer's lot. He's gonna put it at the head of the list for prep when it gets there. He'll give us another call once he confirms it has arrived at the rail yard.

It's getting close!

Yesterday my dealer sent me a text that the estimated ship date changed from 4/27/21 to 4/29/21, so not too too bad.

Then, OMG, I checked with Jeep Chat this morning and this is what they said:

"Thank you so much for holding. I am showing that your vehicle is currently in the paint stage of the build process. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided."

Ordered: 4/3/21 (Saturday) and received VON and "D" status.
Received VIN on 4/14/21 and Status of D1 (Wednesday)
Now in paint stage 19 days after order.

So, i figured what the heck, I'll just check with Jeep chat again today. After all, need to do something to pacify me while I wait on the Jeep. Then, just like that I got this message today:

"Thank you so much for holding. I am showing that your vehicle has completed the build process and is pending quality inspections to ensure that standards are met prior to releasing the vehicle. At FCA, you can be assured that we take vehicle quality seriously. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided."

So, in one day my Jeep went from paint to completed the build process. But, not sure about this "pending quality inspections" part. With my luck, it will be stuck in inspections for the next 10 weeks.

Congratulations Mattebury!
This is my first 2-Door since my CJ days.
The only thing I have issues with so far is the factory miss buffing a small spot between the front fender\inner fender and the rear headliner next to the rear window, double sided tape fail, easy fix.
Only mods so far is a Sunrider and hood struts.
Lastly air your tires down to about 36lbs, my came at 46lbs and it made a big difference on the highway.

I actually did get an email but it was in my spam filter.

Steve, your Jeep looks fantastic. I like those hood struts. I'll probably get those. I have mixed feelings about the sunrider top. Is there a lot of noise at highway speeds?

Taxjoc, With the top down there is a little more noise but not bad, with the top up at highway speeds very loud with all the wind buffing. Wife and I like driving around town and trailing with the Freedom Panels off. The Sunrider just makes it more convenience without dealing with the panels or their storage. When winter comes the Freedom Panels will be reinstalled.
