2 days update of tracking. There is a considerable amount of movement here. I’m going to load it up, then check again in a couple hours, update and send at one time.

Thank you for all the effort, time and energy you and Jay have put into tracking. It’s such a huge project. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love this process and am sooo excited for my first ever Jeep. This is the first car I have ever special ordered.

Placed order for JLU Sahara on 1/11 and still no VIN. Jeep chat and apparently they don't see it in the system:

"I have searched that VON to find no current status for the order through my system. I do not have a build order status I can provide to you for the building process that has been assigned to the vehicle."

How long did it take those who ordered in January to get a VIN and hit early stages? Should I be worried it's been 12 days and still not in the system?

I ordered on MLK day and had a VON and VIN 36 hours later. It did take another 3/4 business days for a rep on the 800# to be able to pull it up. I’d ask for an escalation. They are definitely backed up but why risk getting lost in the shuffle...

Checked with Jeep Chat this morning and was told it moved to framing (E) early this morning, I just checked again and was told still in D1 and that is all the information she had. Does anyone know why they would tell me different things?

Talked to a girl, she took all my info (name, address, phone #...), and then told me she couldn’t provide me with the status of my new vehicle build...
How do you Canadians track your orders ?

So your dealer can tell you or the jeep chat. I ask my dealer every week what the status of my build is. I've also done the jeep.com chat and given them my VIN which worked fine. The chat and the dealer must get the info from the same place because they are always in sync.

Did you give them an US adress ?
Cause they wouldn’t do anything for me since i have a Canadian adress... i could just you my cousin in NY’s address I guess, and the order # (don’t have a VIN yet)

I didn't have to. Just gave them my VIN. I usually say something like: "Hi, I was curious how the build is going on my new jeep. The VIN is: ******". They usualy reply that they would be glad to help and about 20 seconds later I have an answer.

Edit: It's a chat so I don't say anything, I type it. lol. but you probably got that

So just got out of Jeep Chat....ordered a JLUR on 1/5/18....was in 'D'...think till yesterday. Today in 'D1'.....the wait begins....

Thanks, I did the exact same thing and it worked this time, just like in spy movies, if you act casual, they won’t doubt you’re not from there lol
