So getting ready to install these in my 2022 Rubicon this weekend. I also have 3 BC-1's. Will run one for each zone and connect the fogs to the same zone as the outer halo ring. I've watched various install videos and feel pretty good about it all. I have a question for others who have done this. Would there be a reason to run the RBG wiring to one of my auxiliary switches inside? Could I then turn the RBG on/off or does that work well through the app? I'm just thinking that once I've got the colors set to where I would want them most of the time, all I'd really want to do is turn them on/off. Wouldn't need to open the app and all that unless I want to change things around. Or am I not understanding how that works? DRL's should work off the ignition and RBG off the Aux...yes? Hope that makes sense.....Thanks.

I just run mine through the app. I believe you could get it to work the way you described. But the easier route is just use the app.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I'm overthinking it. I'll go with the app and see how I like that. Have a great weekend.

You too. I like the way you think about it. Post some pics when you get it all set up!

Got'em in. Was more an all day thing, but I tend to work slow.....and there's a LOT of wires to strip and connect. Still working out some kinks with the ColorShift part. One of the BC-1's just showed a broken link in the app and blew the fuse. Haven't had time to get a new one yet. Hoping it's not defective. Will post more picks once that's up and running. Now I need to replace the bulbs in the fenders with LED's so they match the intensity of the halo's. Pleased with the light output at night. I have basic Quadratec LED headlights in my 2010 and these are definitely an upgrade from that. My only disappointment would be if I can't get the ColorShift part to work correctly.

Seriously!?!? haha....oh well. On the plus side, I was able to shorten up all the cords to not have so much extra length to have to deal with. If I would switch to these, I would need 3 for the headlights and 1 for the fogs?

I don't think you need a controller for the fogs...and those will install differently so... only 3 for the headlights. Made my install super easy.

I have the colorshift fogs installed as well. It has one connector for color. I currently have them spliced together with the outer ring on the headlights so they change together. So I think I'd need 1 y-connecter for the pair of those and plug that into the same BC-1 as the one I'm using for the halos on the headlights?

Welp - got my last bc-1 and wired it all up. Looks really great but I think the RED LED on the driver's side outer halo is defective. I swapped controllers and cables and narrowed it down to that being the only possibility. all the others show red but as soon as I connect the red to red wires for that headlight they all change to yellow. See first and third photo. Contacting Oracle for a solution.
