I am thinking about doing the seat covers in my Jeep. I do not want to cheap out so I am going to go with the Bartact. Right now I can only do either the front or the rear seats. I was thinking of going ahead and do the front seats but am not sure how stupid it will look with them being black with blue inserts while the backs remain unchanged. I will not get the backs until closer to Christmas. What say you my brothers and sisters? Do them or leave them alone?

Do the fronts for now, get that protection installed ASAP. I have not done my rear seats. They see very little action except when I take the dogs to the beach.

For the back, I have a different, less expensive hammock style cover that covers everything with little openings for the seatbelts that seal up around the seatbelt stems with Velcro. Makes it easy to empty all the sand out. There are a ton of options on Amazon, but below is what I bought from other recommendations on here. $60 right now. I would probably still use this even if I had seat covers in the back, because seat covers do not stop sand from falling through the cracks to the floor underneath.

My rear seats only are full if the kids are with us. So about 40% of the time. I’ll get the same set for the back as I do the front. My OCD wouldn’t let me so otherwise. Thanks for all the replies so far.

I say do the fronts for the protection but know it will drive you crazy not having the rears done yet. I was in the same boat when I got my bartact covers only I went with all black so they wouldn’t have stood out. I wanted to do just the fronts first but my girl wanted me to do the rears first since the dogs like to ride. I ended up saying to hell with it and used my credit card to go ahead and get both.
