Is there any way to add the Off-Road + feature to a 2019 Jeep JL Rubicon? Curious to see what is needed? I really like this feature (tried it on my cousin’s jeep) but don’t want to buy a new Wrangler just to have that option. Anyone?

  1. Allows you to drive at higher speeds with rear locker engaged.
  2. Disables Traction Control
  3. Adjusts throttle for off road driving.
  4. Adjusts auto trans shift points for off road use.
Interesting, never heard of it. Is it and option or something organic that you can invoke?

Came standard on 2021+ JL Rubicons. It’s a button added on top of the sway bar button.

Come to think about it I have seen that on my JLR and never wondered what it was. LOL I am so old school that the concept of pushing a button and letting the 'outer do all for me is beyond my thinking. I suppose its a good thing.

Thank you for the enlightenment...

Give it a try. It’ll make you smile. I’ve always had old school rigs and I enjoy the new toy…

If anything offroad + takes away computer controls and lets the jeep act more oldschool. try it.

There are plenty of people on this forum that know more than me but doesn't sound like this is an option that could easily be added. Might be easier and cheaper to trade your 19 in and buy a new rig that already has it.

Several you tubers that have 392s are always in off-road+ mode for better on street performance.

isn't the 392 offroad+ mode different than the standard rubicon one? or is it just that they can use it on the street because of the full time awd vs us regular rubicon owners needing to be in 4h and in dirt/snow/etc?
