You can run them off of your AUX switches, but you will not have the additional functionality that the light is capable of. We install them at the shop pretty frequently and its generally 50/50 on how the customers want them wired up. My opinion is you're buying premium lighting with premium features, I'd want all of my money's worth out of them.Thank you All for the suggestions and help. I think I have decided on the LP6'S. They just really appeal to me. Anyone that has them have suggestions on the wiring? I have factory aux. Should I spring for the upfitter harness or does the harness that comes with the BD LP6'S work just fine? Probably solder and shrink tubing so I have zero problems down the road.
