No joy. I can it can see the module but I can’t make any changes to it.

Something not right with the module or the obd adapter. Mine reads it and had 1 for vin counter and 5 for vin limit. I changed both to different numbers a couple of times. That's the last thing I did before it picked up my vin.

Are you using the blue adapter cable and the mx+? I mean you shouldn't need the blue cable with the mx+. Maybe it needs a firmware update?

So for grins I tried with my icar vgate and was able to reset the counters but the VIN is still ??? Yes using the blue cable with the MX+, that’s the only way it will connect to the module. I did the firmware update when I first got it a week ago.

I’ll try again when the “new” module comes in. Thanks for the help.

Try a soft reset after setting them to 0?

I’m pretty sure the module is bad. That didn’t work.

Gregj any possibility of checking if the module is bad?
I can send you out the one I have from the 2022 and see if that works for you

Michael had said that it may work but won't know unless you try it and since you are further along with this project I have no worries shipping this out to you. I have #68329822AA coming in hopefully by Friday. It`s worth a try????
