I've heard a lot of good things about TriCItyJeep. I wish I would have gone there at least to check them out since they're closer to me.

Derek at Sport Durst CJD in Durham was great, the entire staff was really. We had a few of the guys that have owned Wranglers for years stop in and talk with us while we were waiting on paperwork, negotiating price, etc.

Saying hello from the Triangle! All stock for now, but then again I did just take delivery on Wednesday. Switched out the hardtop for soft yesterday and have been playing with all the modes. Though it may not be the most popular, I think safari is my favorite!

I'm currently in King visiting my SO's mom, so I'm gonna try to check out Yadkin Island Park that @UNC Rubicon recommended above.

Took a while to get back around to this, but I did check out Yadkin Island Park. There were people camped out on the Rocks that @UNC Rubicon suggested, but still got to cross some streams and drive up one a bit (probably not supposed to do that). Couple of cool pics nonetheless.

I hear that the Page Rd trails are pretty good, but have been told to wait several days after a heavy rain, unless you're going with someone and can winch each other out if you get stuck in mud/deep ponding. Also probably want to go with someone who's been there before.

A few pages back, there was a guy that said he’s friends with some people up there. Said the road isn’t public and is closed.

I've never been so this only second hand knowledge and take it with a grain of salt, however from hearing people talk about it I don't believe it is open, or at least supposed to be accessed.
