Yesterday, I used the chat feature at Jeep.com to get the status of my JLUR order. They were happy to give me a status in a bunch of words, but when I asked for the specific code, they said, "I'm sorry, Steve. I know you may have been given an alphanumeric status code in the past, but these are for internal use only. So, I can't give you the code."
Has anyone else run into this? Not really a big deal. Like I said, they still gave me the status. I guess I'm just curious if I was dealing with one particular customer service rep who was a stickler for the rules, or if it's a universal change.
