New Sahara Recovery Points

Hi All,

My first Wrangler, it will arrive in a few days. I do not have experience and a I did search other threads but I found conflicting information.

Will those two front hooks be able to take the load when I get stuck in sand and I need to be pulled (deep dubai sand) and how about the single rear hook? If yes how should I connect a recovery rope to the front hooks? It does not seem its very secure.. If not, what upgrades do I need?

All those recovery points will be fine for getting you unstuck.

Just loop a kinetic rope onto them.

Some people prefer a closed loop system but that would mean new front and rear aftermarket bumpers.

I read some places that I should use both hooks at the same time to reduce chance of damaging the car. Is that recommend or an overkill? If so what is the best way to use both at the same time? I guess I would install a second hook in the rear if needed... to have two front and two back

Use a kinetic recovery rope (bubba rope is a good example) and try pulling when stuck before a hard snatch. Most times one hook is fine.
