This quote was for a Gladiator, Sport S with convenience group. Requested a quote for a similar Wrangler that came back a bit higher - as expected since the automatic is standard on the JT and a pricey option on the JL.
Honestly 41,000 new, factory order JT, not a bad deal. The Sport S trim is pretty nice. I was looking at that trim before I decided upon the Willys Sport trim (which they no longer offer).

What would you use it for? And what do you ever take it off-roading?

Have you seen that Nighthawk trim on the build page website? It looks pretty intriguing, with its color matching hardtop. Though the 20-in wheels is a bit retarded. That would be the first thing I would get rid of.

Also the Corning gorilla Glass come standard on the Sport S, it's also a feature of the convenience package. Not that matters, but it is a redundancy.

EDIT:

Actually, looks like the 2025 Nighthawk version has all the same features and is actually less expensive than the Sport S MSRP. 🤔

I looked at the nighthawk. You can't get the convenience group on it, and heated seats/steering wheel are my only must-haves. Besides, 20" wheels make baby jesus cry.

Dealer advertises 7-8% below invoice. MSRP of build is $44885 + $1895 destination charge. Received quote of $41,350. I've never been through this process - do the #s make sense?
I just picked up this 2025 Wrangler 2 Door Sport color 41 on 1/8/25 from existing inventory. MSRP was $38,880, the dealership took off $6,080.00, plus tax, tags and doc fee of $799.00. I was going to order a Sport S with more options. The build on that vehicle was $45k and change. I priced it out at 3 different dealerships, two local and one over 200 miles away. The best I could get before tax, tag and fees was between 42k and 43k +++; essentially 1% below invoice. All the dealerships quoted the same invoice number and $1,895 destination charge. Also I was told that incentives could change between now and the arrival date, so final pricing could not be guaranteed! In the end I decided I could live without some of the extras and went for the in stock unit.

In the end it was a 10k swing between what I thought I had to have and the in stock vehicle in the color I wanted.

This is my FIRST Jeep Wrangler and replacing a 25 year old BMW Z3 that was limited in everything expect draining my wallet at the repair shop.

I was in car sales at 3 different dealerships in large market areas for 10 years. While I may have left a little money on the table; in the end I felt like I got a pretty fair deal with out a bunch of packed on extras. IMHO prices on these vehicles are bound to go up this year.

Very happy and excited to be part of a great community with unlimited support.

Good luck and happy shopping!

Saw this at my local dealership. Jeep doing 15% off and then dealership adding to that. Might want to show this to the place you are thinking of buying from. All 2024 JTs.

Thats a great looking price! Only thing I'll say is that dealers are going to treat in stock units, 2024, differently than new orders. I was at Friendship Jeep in Johnson City, TN and they had a NEW 2023 4Xe on the lot they couldn't give away. They were 20k off on this vehicle. But buyer beware, its a 2 year old car as soon as it rolls.
