New member with a quick question

I was at a local jeep dealer yesterday because there were having a charity event. While I was there, I was talking to one of the salesmen who claims that he can special order a Rubicon with a rear-end gear other than the 4.10 ratio. Is this correct? If so, does anyone know what other gears are available?

The only other option I have seen is 3.73 , if you go on Jeep.com and go to the build screen it will show options.. Last time I looked it was 3.73 & 4.10. That was awhile ago

When I just recently built my JLUR, there was no option, just the 4.10 gearing.

I told him that on Jeeps website you didn't have the option and he claims that dealers have more options available to them.

I don't remember the monthly order sheets from Jeep to the dealers listing another gear. Maybe it is dealer added/changed.

The JLR and JLUR only come with 4.10 gears. The Sport and Sahara only come with 3.45 gears.

On the JKR and JKUR you could select 3.73 or 4.10. On the Sport and Sahara you could select 3.21 or 3.73.

Seems that he doesn't know what he is talking about.

I assumed he was blowing me some wind, but wanted to make sure before I waste a 40 minute drive for nothing.
