New member introduction - Order status

Good morning everyone, long time lurker, first time poster !

We finally gave him and placed our order for a 2020 JLUR Sting gray with basically every available option.

The order was placed on the 5th and seems to currently be in BG status.

We do not have a serial number but I do have the order number.

I was just curious to know if that's a normal status because the FCA description is somewhat weird... lol

BG – order has passes edit but cannot be scheduled regardless of sold status

We also own a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk V6.

Well, we're still in BG status. Still no serial number

Seems like everyone here gets their SN on the second or third day after placing their order. Maybe its different for Canada ?

Getting your SN (serial number, which I assume means, vehicle identification number, VIN, in the U.S.) on the second or third day could mean by the 2nd or 3rd business day.

It looks like you, like me, ordered on a Friday. I didn't get my VIN until the following Wednesday.

Give it time. Hopefully you will get it by Wednesday.

***EDIT: Sorry. You ordered on a Wednesday and posted on Friday. Give your salesman a call.
