I have an appointment for this Saturday for them to take it for a drive to try to duplicate the problem. Kind of stupid for them not to trust my word. Do they think that I want to waste my time at the dealership for nothing? So what if they don't duplicate the problem? Do they just send me on...
I had the recall done about 2 weeks ago against my better judgement. I hadn't driven on the highway since the replacement and didn't notice any problems. Well, this weekend I hit the highway and as I was on the entrance ramp I got a shimmy and several times while on the highway. I should have...
When I got my Jeep (about a year ago) the cable was detached, so they replaced the whole rear glass. I did the zip tie and mine became detached today. Back to the dealer I go....
I have to have both. I've almost always had a fast car and a 4x4 since my early 20's. I'm almost 60 now. If you can swing it, keep both. I have a '18 fully loaded Sahara, a 1987 Grand National and a 2008 Shelby, plus my beaters. You will miss having a fast car. I know I would.
I don't have a dead-spot, but I did have a very bad wobble on the highway at 70mph when I hit a small bump in the road while changing lanes. My Jeep had less than 500 miles at the time. The stealership said that the steering stabilizer was bad and replaced it. I haven't had any issues since.
Am I correct in assuming that if you have the ceramic coating, that you can't put the paint protective film over it because it won't stick to the ceramic coating? Last week, I went to a shop to have some paint protection film put on the leading edges and grill of my Wrangler and after about 5...
I agree with the 3rd looking the best. The tint is inside, but I'm concerned about the deflector making the window channel tight. The channel is only so wide.
I'm looking at 3 different style visor and would like to know from those who used them, which one works the best. One of them mounts to the outer edge of the door frame, one mounts to the inner edge of the door frame(outer edge of the window frame) and the third mounts inside of the window...
I have selec- trac and had the death wobble before I hit 200 miles. The dealer changed the steering stabilizer and I haven't had any problems since. I have a little over 2000 miles now.
After reading this thread, I decided to take a look at mine and sure enough, it is detached. Less than 750 miles on Jeep. Probably was detached from day one.
I was at a local jeep dealer yesterday because there were having a charity event. While I was there, I was talking to one of the salesmen who claims that he can special order a Rubicon with a rear-end gear other than the 4.10 ratio. Is this correct? If so, does anyone know what other gears are...
