I don't have a dead-spot, but I did have a very bad wobble on the highway at 70mph when I hit a small bump in the road while changing lanes. My Jeep had less than 500 miles at the time. The stealership said that the steering stabilizer was bad and replaced it. I haven't had any issues since.

I agree with the 3rd looking the best. The tint is inside, but I'm concerned about the deflector making the window channel tight. The channel is only so wide.

I have selec- trac and had the death wobble before I hit 200 miles. The dealer changed the steering stabilizer and I haven't had any problems since. I have a little over 2000 miles now.

After reading this thread, I decided to take a look at mine and sure enough, it is detached. Less than 750 miles on Jeep. Probably was detached from day one.
