I get your optimism, and I’m hopeful too, but the return of the 392 is a complete no-brainer for anybody in the Jeep corner office with the relaxation of the CAFE mandates and the insane profits on each 392 sold.

I’m wondering how much input he has into the J70 platform, he’s either going to get the credit if it’s good or the goat horns if it’s bad.

"they adjusted pricing on every single model besides the Wrangler"...

...this is how you know they're f'ing us over, and they're not even embarrassed about it.

Not sure about the rest of you, but I am starting to have a glimmer of hope for Jeep. The new CEO is making some smart moves right out of the gate; keeping the HEMI 392 not only in the Wrangler but adding to the Gladiator is great, plus addressing the ridiculous pricing. Now if they could also focus on quality!

So you can add the Hemi to a Ram 1500 for $2895. That's all the option costs.

But on the Jeep and Gladiator it's a >$30,000 option.

They are shaking down their most loyal and devoted customers with this price policy..... it should be one that gets looked at very quickly.

Unfortunately it's a kitchen sink thing with Wranglers, not just an engine.

You don't want you Wrangler to hold it's value?
The reason they make other models besides the Wrangler is economic, if people can't afford this model there is the Compass and Cherokee.
Personally I don't want to see Wrangler in direct competition with Kia.

They HAVE lowered MSRPs for 2026. Right now, the Wrangler base MSRPs are around $2800 less than equivalent 2025s. I haven't looked at the individual options, but prices are down for MY26.
