Interesting indeed - I might become a guinea pig for the forum. Will do some research and consider them thoroughly!

Totally agree, BUT these are a fraction of the cost compared to the BD lights. I look at these as a much cheaper option for those on a budget!
This is true, though you may spend more money in the long run depending on how durable these are. BD stuff is extremely well built and long living.

Why not support a company that designs and manufactures in the US?
I agree, for the price I'll just buy baja designs

Ooof, what have I started :giggle:

Ok, so In regards to supporting American made products.. I do, but not every single thing we purchase has to, nor will be American made. These are a fraction of the price of the Baja stuff and realistically very few of us need $600+ lights.

competition is good, these are new with no info out there so thought I’d make a post for those that are interested to share their experiences with these. That’s all.

Not exactly. One of the videos shows his Baja lights to be severely pitted from rocks.
There's nothing wrong with BD lights. I've had a set of 4 on my pickup for 10 years now. They work as good as the first day. That said, if someone wants to buy Harbor Fright stuff, have at it.

Lights that get used show signs of wear and tear, what a surprise!! I've run BD lights on the front of my f150 for a few years, and so far have no signs of wear and tear, and if something happens to the lenses I can replace them for fairly cheap. Their bigger lights all have rock guards that should be used, and they have a lifetime warranty.

Of the 100s of customers of ours who have purchased our landing light and wing tip light kits for experimental aircraft, which use BD lights, we've received zero complaints or reports of failures in the 13 years I've been with the company.

I have nothing against anyone who wants to save a buck and run HF stuff, just saying I wouldn't poopoo the quality of BD product.

I have Baja Designs lights on my JLUR bull bar. No way I would’ve gone cheap on those lights. They’re awesome. If there is pitting, Baja Designs sells replacement lenses. Can’t say the same for Harbor Freight lights.

That said while I try my best to buy US made products, sometimes I don’t. If anyone has issues with that, life is hard, get a helmet. I am actually finishing installing a Harbor Freight 6 LED flood light on my JLUR to help as a backup light.

Trying to figure out how to wire it to my Aux 1 or 2 switch. I mean the instructions don’t really help.

White/blue/black…any ideals?
