Now you have me interested.

Please do explain!!??
They moved production of the Charger to the Pacifica plant where I work. We're building the EV and ICE models currently. I've driven both that we build for on grounds tests, not on actual streets.

We offer a wide variety of Horsepower options, 420, 550, and if you're very good Santa will show you the button on the EV that gives you 1000+. Google Charger SRT Banshee.

Damn that's cool!! You live in Canada though, right?

A Dodge Charger EV, depending on the range is definitely something I would be interested in. :handsinair: 😎

Yup. Ontario, actually not far from where it used to be built in Canadian distance terms.
I can't really answer customer questions as I'm not driving them on the road or looking at finished models much but it's pretty cool actually building something not Soccer Mom focused.

How convenient that the photo outside the window is blurry af. Hopefully I'm wrong, but the proportions are giving me Mustang Mach-E SUV/CUV vibes.

Looks like a sedan got humped by a cyber truck...pass.
Sedan ? - look at the back window, hatchback ? Straight lines, tall body ass end, the wheel wells aren’t right, O style / class. Not impressed.
69 Charger Daytona for reference

You're looking for this I suppose lol

https://cdn.dealereprocess.org/cdn/brochures/dodge/2024-charger.pdf

I think it looks a lot better than it might've ended up looking like. I also think the design is a little bit compromised compared to the previous Charger/Challenger, because they're trying to carry a lot of common sheetmetal between the 2-door and 4-door variants.

But really? The more I see it? The more I like it? Would I buy one? Ehh? At this point? Probably not. It'd probably be a fun car to lease. Given Stellantis' track record with the stuff they're currently selling in terms of reliability and replacement parts availability... eh....

Still, it's a large RWD sedan being offered with a twin turbo I6 or electric drivetrain. Even if we sit here crying about the $50k price tag, it's probably going to be easy to get 10% off that price after a year or so, and there probably won't be much in that price range otherwise.

We'll see. Maybe that 4 door Mustang will hit them the way the Bronco hit the Jeep sales lol.
