New Build Frustration

Greetings all,

Im new to this forum. I’m coming from the JK Wrangler Forum.
Im in the process of building a new ‘21 JL.
Herein lies my frustration.
I’ve owned numerous Jeeps and have owned three Saharas (TJ & JK).
Jeep does not offer a 2Dr JL Sahara model.
I’m a fan of body color fenders and HT. The Sahara always offered this option on the JK.
In building my new JL, I can’t find one 2DR JL, outside of the Rubicon,
that offers the following required/wanted options in one model.
Must Haves: 1. Body Color HT, 2. Body Color Fenders, 3. Alpine Stereo.
Due to the aforementioned, I’m forced/defaulted to order a Rubicon, if I want the three must have options I listed above.
I don’t need the Rubicon features as I simply enjoy the Wrangler as a smart/cool/small/nostalgic runabout. It’s my DD...
As such, I have to make some concessions. I don’t really want to. Moreover, the cost of a Rubicon, would go to waste with me...
I will hold off until the beginning of the year to see/hope that Jeep offers a 2DR JL (outside of the Rubicon) that will offer body color HT, body color fenders & the Alpine Stereo...
Jeep, can you pls do a long time Jeep customer/owner the big favor?
Am I the only one that loved the 2DR Sahara?

I didn't price it out, but seems like for your needs would be cheaper to buy a sport, replace the fenders, top, and stereo later. If you look around you might be a able to find some take off fenders cheap (not sure if you have common color or not).

You can buy paintable (smooth finish) high clearance Rubicon fenders for the 2dr sport, and these come w/ the LED runners and turn signals built in.

These are two-piece fenders too, so you can take the bottom piece out to get even more clearance if needed.

80th Anniversary would get you the body color fenders and alpine stereo. Just not the body color HT. I currently have a hellayella on order. Closest thing I could find to a 2 door Sahara.

I like the painted fenders and top as well.

Yeah, 80th Anniversary would be closest, but you still have the black top.

You could buy a Sahara and shut the rear doors with duct tape so nobody uses them...

Yeah, I’ll check out the 80th Anny. again. If I recall, not a fan of the wheels. That can be remedied w/aftermarket rims. However, that costs $ too.
I reviewed the config last night & really like the tan cloth & black wheels on the Willys. You can get the Alpine too. However, no body color HT or fenders. Hellfire, lol...
What to do, but wait a couple/few months to see what FCA does for any potential new special or another anniversary model?

Buy the Willys or Sport S. Order the fenders from the link above. Drop your hardtop and fenders off at a good body shop and have them painted to match.

You can order the optional stereo in either of those two. Also, don't for get the LED headlights. If you want LED tailights, order the blind spot detection option.
