So, need some help here. Tried to get an alignment on my 2020 jlur automatic 2.0L, 76k miles, and the “tech” said he couldn’t do it because the neutral lockout wasn’t working. Got it home and I verified it indeed isn’t working. There’s no physical damage that I can see to the cord/lever etc. Wondering if anyone has had this problem or any ideas about what’s going on before I take it to the dealership. FYI not sure it matters but it has had the frame replaced (rear ended a year ago, wasn’t totaled). The only thing I can think of is maybe there was an issue when it was repaired? But an alignment was done right after the repair with no issues. I don’t know much but I would think going into neutral on the t case would get the job done? Tell me something good.
