How long have you had the Jeep? Mine did this for the first two weeks of ownership and of course I was travelling a lot during this time and needed it to work. When unplugged it showed correct state, and as soon as you plug it in it has you somewhere else(in my case it was Delaware).

After about two weeks or so it just fixed itself.
I have had it a little over a year, not one problem until now. I know it’s minor, it’s just frustrating.

Is this with the nav built into the 8.4 or nav from your phone?
Built in navigation, I have never used my phone on the screen for navigation. Maybe I should!!

Actually no. I had the same problem with CarPlay on the 7.0 stereo. And it was fixed by a TSB at the dealer. But before I went into all that I wanted to make sure it was the same problem.

It’s going to another dealership tomorrow. I have found the forum with the tsb and I’m going to see if they know what I’m talking about. Hopefully I can get some results tomorrow.

My JLUR only has the 7.0 so must use the phone for navigation. At first I thought my phone GPS went belly up, didn't realize that the 7.0 still has GPS even though it doesn't have built in nav. The vehicle GPS overrides the phone GPS. Only way to get the phone to display correct was to unplug it from the Jeep. Of course I only figured that out AFTER resetting my phone (and all the joy and pain that entails).

Oh that’s right. THe CarPlay problem was because of the Jeep GPS getting stuck. Not the phone. So it could be the same problem.
