Navigation wrong state

That's a bit different than saying the dealer said there's nothing they can do to help. Doesn't sound like a totally unreasonable approach, especially if they've tried all the easier resolutions.

Nothing they can do except order a new radio. Sorry, should have been more specific.

Try searching the forum. I remember last spring some were being delivered that were showing that the Jeep was still in Toledo, but I don’t remember the outcome. Your problem might be similar.

It is very easy to change the state. I have the 8.4 in 3 diff vehicles. Easy to use. Just click on the state or US and you can input any state you want. It also goes back to the last state you were in or were trying to get to when you used the nav last. Good luck, keep us posted.

It’s actually showing my Jeep in Mississippi. When I drive it shows me driving, but there are not roads. I’m in Texas and it showing me as I drive that I’m driving through Mississippi.

It is very easy to change the state. I have the 8.4 in 3 diff vehicles. Easy to use. Just click on the state or US and you can input any state you want. It also goes back to the last state you were in or were trying to get to when you used the nav last. Good luck, keep us posted.

He's saying it won't show him anywhere but Mississippi and it won't let him change it.

I’m taking to another dealership to let them check it out. Hopefully we shall see

Shows me in Mississippi and when I go to Type in address shows Mississippi as well.

Maybe disconnect the battery for a few, and see if it resets?

Also make sure there isn't anything interfering with the antenna. #3 in the image

How long have you had the Jeep? Mine did this for the first two weeks of ownership and of course I was travelling a lot during this time and needed it to work. When unplugged it showed correct state, and as soon as you plug it in it has you somewhere else(in my case it was Delaware).

After about two weeks or so it just fixed itself.

I would think it would have to be in-dash nav since it's been to the dealership.

Mississippi is beautiful this time of year.

Mine kept showing me up in Big Bear (100 mi away)... usually on the ski slopes. So I thought she was just dreaming of where she'd rather be (me too truth be told), but when it showed me IN the lake, it made me wonder. She doesn't even have a snorkel. Was she trying to tell me something...???

Actually no. I had the same problem with CarPlay on the 7.0 stereo. And it was fixed by a TSB at the dealer. But before I went into all that I wanted to make sure it was the same problem.

I have taken the hard top off and road around put the soft top on and still nothing. I have disconnect all 3 grounds one on the battery and two on the side of the fenders, pulled fuse 12 and 97, and still the same thing. I appreciate the advice, I thought about pulling radio out and unplugging the gps transmitter.
