Every morning when we go out to Josie (our 2020 Wrangler), there is a bit of water under the floormat on the passenger side front. It is not an AC leak, and it is not related to rain. We are guessing that the dew is heavy enough and running down to...somewhere. And something is clogged, and the moisture is gathering under the floor mat.

I found a YouTube video about clearing out the cowl, but as I got into the steps, it doesn't match Josie. I found another video that mentioned something vague about clearing out something beneath the vehicle, but it really doesn't say what or where.

Any suggestions, anyone?

Thanks for that info.

I am fairly certain it is not the AC drain tube. It has happened on days (and overnight) when the AC was not run.

Any other thoughts.

No, we don't (run the AC on auto). However, we have noticed that the AC kicks on when the Jeep is just idling (not moving) when the vent is on.

However, I can confirm that this is not an AC problem. We did drive the Jeep at 2pm yesterday. At 7pm last night, I checked the mat and made sure it was not wet. We had rain overnight. This morning, there was a puddle again. So it is definitely from the rain.

Check the cowl drains right under the plastic trim by the wipers. They can clog with leaves or dust, and water then flows down the firewall to the passenger floor.
