My Leather seats, 2022 cracking ,flaking issue.

On my 2022 Rubicon, 7500 miles. I have the perforated black leather seats. Drivers side (of course) I'm getting the usual cracking . I do ,and have used leather conditioner on the seats. The problem I'm having is It looks like the leather top coat is flaking off. It's leaving white-ish spots that I notice in the leather. Nope my jeans do not have rivets, I have steps so getting in is not an issue. Maybe I drag my fat ass getting out a bit , but not much that it should go bad in this short amount of time. What say the experts, should I bitch ? Will it get me anywhere? Or is it a waste of time and effort?

I would go to your dealership and politely show them the issue. No need to "bitch" about anything. You are within the year and mileage range for warranty coverage, so let the dealership figure out what to do. It might be as simple as ordering and installing new leather.

Maybe bitch was a poor word choice. My dealership is more of an ask than A warranty issue !

My 2020 Rubi with the non-preforated leather seats are in great condition after 30k miles, so something is up with yours.

Yes, talk to the dealership Service Manager, asap. Be polite, non-confrontational and ask him/her for their assist... their help in getting Stellantis to warranty.

You would also be wise to contact Stellantis customer service, asap...

Call the Jeep Customer Care , Ph. 1-866-362-2146 and calmly, politely, ask that a case be opened in regard to your JL.

I would not mention you used any product on the seats. Do that and you give them .. Stellantis, a reason to not replace under warranty.

Post a pic so we can see what you're seeing. Is it the side bolster on the cushion? Side bolster on the back rest?
