First off...this is my first post on this forum...so Hi Everyone!!!

I have placed the order for my JL Rubicon this evening. My Build is as follows:
· Rubicon
· 2-Door
· 6-Speed Transmission
· LED Lighting Group
· Cold Weather Package
· Trailer Tow & HD Electrical Group
· Electronic Infotainment System Group
· Steel Bumpers
· Color: Granite Crystal Metallic
· Premium Black Sunrider Soft Top
· 17-inch x 7.5-inch Black Wheel with Polished Lip
· Premium Cloth Low-Back Bucket Seats

I really don't want to wait to get it in!! But..it sounds like I may be in for a long one.

I have seen the color in person but not in sunlight. The dealership I ordered from has one but it was overcast and there was ice on the JL so I couldn't see it very well. The pictures I have seen on this forum of the color told me that it will be spectacular in the sunlight. I plan to go back up to the dealership to take a look at the Granite once the sun come out again...hopefully this weekend.

Hang in there buddy. I just got mine Friday. I ordered Dec 14th. Yes it a a long wait and it drove me nuts while waiting and checking status like everyone else on the forum. I can say after getting my fully loaded Rubi Unlimited and driving it for 5 days, I can't tell you how much fun I am having with it. All I can say is that it is a sweet ride and worth the wait.

Ordered mine today, and it's a race now between you and I.

Differences from your order:
No trailer tow
Black leather
Went with the hard top ---- i wanted the prem black sunrider just like you but wife said it looked too dangerous... skip the part about explaining about roll bars etc..... add the bit about knowing the softtop is one of the biggest delays...... 3 pc hardtop it is!

I expect MAYBE to leapfrog you due to the top........ won't apologize if i do.... but here's hoping we both get built the same day...

manual and 2 door are the other whammys i think...... you have three whammys i have two

Yeah Alltimesaresoon...you are probably right on the builds but I am really hoping that you are wrong. :D My dealer thinks that I am still 6-10 weeks from delivery. I am past ready to get my hands on it...and while I am trying like hell not to be too obsessive about it...I can't seem to help myself and view this forum as much as possible...to the point my girlfriend is also ready for me to get my JL so maybe I will return to normal. HAHA...little does she know it will only get worse once I get my hands on it.

Jeep chat still says middle of March.
The dealer told me the top is the issue for the 2door builds.im excited. Next week is mid March.i probally will have a longer wait because I'm in California
