I rose early this morning, making it a point to get myself and the Jeep oot and aboot on the first day of my favorite season.

Several years in and it's still neat to hear the rainfall on the soft top fabric. It reminds me of the same thing when bunking down in a tent at night. Observing the effectiveness of the Rain-X treatment on the windscreen was a nice bonus.

The rainfall has been fairly light thus far, but for brief and heavy precipitation that passed through maybe an hour ago.

Here in the southeast we're just getting to temperatures at which it's comfortable to drive with the top down AND AC off. Really makes me appreciate the soft top.

Driving would be awesome if it weren't for all the other drivers everywhere. That thought occurs to me every day.

And I also enjoy a free car wash when it rains. Cleans the bugs off the windshield, sometimes for an entire day and usually keeps the deer and other critters off the roads as well ?
