My driver side seat stop broke

I ordered a couple for each side last night. Was emailed this morning that my order was canceled due to the part being discontinued or extended eta. Tried another site this morning. Taking it to the dealer to get the seat back then to get an extension for the tool kit.

The seat is supposed to go back to original position? Mine has never done that. I have to have my seat all the way back, when I fold my seat forward it’ll go back and latch about 2” forward of normal position, so I have to pull the release and slide back 2” every time.

Just got back from the dealer. Said they couldn’t get the seat back. They said the last time they replaced the handle assembly. This time they have to replace the frame. The return plastic piece appears to be intact but it won’t recline and lock in place. I tried the extension a bunch of times and still nothing. Jeep really needs to get their act together. This is nonsense.

No I just referenced the part number ordered from whichever site that had it in stock. Moparpartsgiant I think it was. Not really helping me right now since the dealer told me the seat frame needs to be replaced but I’ll have them just in case I guess

we have had our new jl less than 1 month 1k miles driver side 68485519aa shattered dealer replaced warranty and I purchased xtras. first time used broke again used my part to fix and contacted jeep 844 533 7928 7 tries to talk to someone and basicly no help. everyone needs to flood them with complaints replace the part with the same crap does not cut it. Or we can all just keep replacing and have fun remember you just paid 35-45 k for this Jeep. I will take the broken part back to dealer and see if they will file warr and replace my stk
