Here’s the part number: 68293755AB

It ain’t cheap, so maybe you want to get the tub liner that mopar sells and just fill that hole.

Damn. I am planning to do a cat back exhaust in the future. What did the OP do that I definitely don't want to do?

Don’t know exactly, but sounds like he didn’t put a down pipe or extend it far enough.

He didn't put a cat back. He just took the muffler off which means the end point of the hot exhaust gasses is just below the that point that melted.

If you put a cat back, it's not an issue. Maybe you can even get away by putting better heat shielding down there if you were to take his route.

I'd just get the Dynomax to complete your exhaust and have it exit where it should. You could probably get a sheet metal section tack welded or even clamp clipped in that area that's been burned up. ANd you could put some black epoxy glue to patch that section on the interior that's been affected. Not ideal but better than your current state.

get the liner or a new liner for the tub, order the dynomax delete pipe and go on down the road. I wouldn’t worry about swapping the tub out

Whatever you decide to do just make sure you get your exhaust out from under the vehicle before you idle parked for a long time with the top on.....or we might not hear from you again, lol.

Just go to a local muffler place and have them weld in some pipe to make the exhaust exit out by the rear bumper. Hate to say it but for the melted hole, I'd caulk it up and put the cargo cover back down myself.
