Mopar Metal Bumper closure panel?

I installed the Mopar metal bumper on my Sport S, but need to find the piece that fills the gap between the grill and bumper properly if it exists? The old one for the Sport has a lip on the front and “works”, but it could be better. It also doesn’t fill the entire space. That picture with 8 and 7 looks like the JK Hard Rock/Recon steel bumper. The JL’s don’t say Rubicon on 7 and 8 is shaped differently. Of course they could have just reused the JK picture. I’d make sure it fits the 2019 too.

I have the metal bumpers and I removed this piece between the bumper and the grill when I installed my winch.

I don't know if you need it ... but if the space bothers you, then this is the piece that comes with the stock metal bumpers to fill the gap between the grill and bumper.

The plastic piece that pokey02 posted is the filler piece for the steel bumper. Maximus-3 sell filler plates also... but they are meant for post winch install.

Yes! That’s the one I need. The version I have for the plastic bumper looks identical but it has a lip along the front edge with mounting holes. Since the metal bumper does sit flush with that lip, or use the mounting holes it looks unfinished laying in that gap.

I just did the same swap myself. The plastic bumper trim piece and the steel trim piece are indeed different. I was at RubiTrux in Boone NC last week and they have several of the Rubicon steel bumper trim panels laying around. They’re new takeoffs from their builds. Talk to Ben if interested, he hooked me up. Great guys to deal with.

I’m not affiliated with them at all, I just appreciate good customer service in today’s world.
