I cut the Closer Panel / Close Out Panel that mounts at the ends of the Front Bumper.

I cut them to match the backside of the Bumper.

After removing the Closure Panels I didn't like the appearance of the back of the Bumper with the backside of the lights and wiring exposed. IMO this cleaned up the look of that and made a drastic change in overall appearance.

While I was at it, I removed the Air Damn and the Stamped Metal Brace exposing the Steering linkage, Panhard Bar, Steering Stabilizer and all the mechanicals of the front end.

Here is the picture of the Panel before and after cutting, the one on the Right is before and the 3 left is after cutting:

These next 2 pictures are of the left and right side installed:

I can't tell of any effects while driving or any change in gas mileage even though I think that is why Jeep installed those.

Looks much better! Great job on the cuts. Did you use a Dremel?

Thanks, I didn't use a Dremel, I used Tin Snips, fine grain Grinder Wheel, File and Sand Paper.

I need to invest in a Dremel!:like:

This is one of those jobs where a Dremel isn't the best choice. It leaves it looking "chaffed" and choppy. Trust me... just use a sharp utility knife and a little patience.
