Ok. and once the all weather mat is in place, with the plastic extention inserted into the jeep floor drain, can the plug be inserted on top of the mat so that it holds the mat into place and seals the hole?

Except if you pull the mats out to clean frequently, which I do in the winter and spring in particular, each time you have to pull the plug out. The more often the plug is removed and reinserted, the less secure the seal becomes. And if you spill something, instead of emptying the mat outside, you first have to let the liquid drain through the plug hole. Presumably the liquid collects on that spot. I’m not yet sold on the design. Maybe Im missing something or perhaps it will work brilliantly in practice. I just am not sure yet.

Is that a raised lip round the drain hole? Might have to file that down.

Also can someone with the mopar mats try kneeling down in the drivers footwell and see if there's enough room to take a piss into the plug? (serious)

More seriously, pick up some of these to keep in your glovebox. Way easier and less likely to result in a Jeep that smells like a urinal. These were a godsend on long trips when my boys were toddlers. http://www.traveljohn.com/

I'm just trying to see if it's possible, because I'd like to piss with minimum equipment needed. I currently use water bottles and scissors but that sometimes hurt due to sharp edges. I don't want to carry extra water just to rinse out my piss funnel.

I'm going to get some thick rubber, cut them to fit perfectly on a band saw, drill a small hole in them run a small length of paracord through with a small stopper on the other side. (this for the summer months or when there's no worry of taking on water). If a spill occurs: pull the plug and drain! And I don't want no rodents surprising me in the am.

I'm such an IDIOT! I realized today that the Jeeps drain hole plugs fit perfectly in the Mopar mat drain holes (for times when you don't plan on taking on water). And I was going to make some myself. Lmmfao
