Has anyone else tried to order Rubicon fender flares recently? I ordered a set from the dealer three months ago with an original delivery date of 2/1....then got notification it would be 3/1....then 4/1.... and now 5/1. What's the deal?

There's this little virus going around, supply chain issues abound, and possibly WW3 kicking off...maybe you've heard?

When Jeep is struggling to get enough parts to build new Wranglers, I'm guessing parts sales falls way down the priority list?
I get that...It took several weeks just to get a replacement shock under warranty. I was just kinda hoping someone might know a company or dealer that carries them. It's kinda frustrating getting the emails pushing it back another month....Fully expecting to hear 6/1, 7/2, etc.

Have you checked availability by individual corner? Not sure how much that screws up the package pricing, but may improve lead time.

Have you considered aftermarket flares? There is a million options, some that look semi-factory, some wide, some narrow, and most at a much better price. Unlike Jeep, their entire goal is to sell parts.

When I bought my JLU a few weeks ago, it did not come with the lighting package (LED) so I thought that's fine, save some $ and I'll buy Mopar LED Headlights a bit later. Out of curiosity I phoned a few dealerships to get a price quote, that's all good but each dealer ranged from 3 months to 5 month delay :(

Aftermarket ones are available, so I'm going to go that route but yeah, getting anything OEM Jeep right now is going to be a struggle and a waiting game.

Someone on the forum said they ordered just the front 2 and got them in 2 weeks, I think in January.

Funny you should ask, I ordered mine in Feb. 2021 with an ETA of March 15th, then may, august, october.... I got tired of waiting and ordered the ones from Xtreme terrain. I believe that a year later I'd still be waiting.

All of the aftermarket versions that I've seen are attached with double sided tape. The factory versions use plastic rivets. Have you seen any that don't use the tape method?

These are close to oem style plastic if that's what you want.

I'd be more inclined to go this route. Higher clearance, steel construction, minimalistic design at a much better price.

I see them all the time listed locally as new take-offs. Someone buys the jeep, immediately puts on aftermarket flares, and the black plastic flares get dumped in virtually unused condition. It might take a few weeks to find them (sounds like you have the time, lol) but I'm guessing the price will be much better.

I had ordered a set of fender flares back in late November or early December and one of the rears was holding up the shipment. I got notification that the set of 4 shipped today. So if you wanted to buy them new you might be able to find a supplier who has them. I highly recommend www.AllMoparParts.com, talk to Benny @AllMoparParts.com. They have great customer service and are almost always the cheapest too.
