I apologize for starting a new thread. I didn’t have much response over the last few days on an existing thread and wanted to see if anyone can offer some assistance. I purchased the Mopar Aux switch bank to add to my JL.

Install went fine until trying to extract the orange wire. As I’ve seen from many threads, this wire broke trying to extract it from the connector. So, as a few people have stated, they just spliced the wires from there - rather than finding molex connectors and crimping. So, I‘m hopeful someone can help at this stage. I completed the install. I made the following changes to using JSCAN:

Aux Switch Bank Module Present on/off - Active
Aux Switches in CSM on/off - Switch 4 option
Aux Switches on/off - Four
Radio Aux Swtiches on/off - Switch option 4

I have no power at the switches - will not light up. When I check the voltage at the Red and Black pins on the connector at the Aux switches - It reads 0v when disconnected from the aux switch bank and i assume it should be reading 12v. I have checked the 5 amp inline fuse - all good. Does anyone know what the voltage should be at the orange splice to ground in the footwell? Should it 12v?

I have tried using JSCAN multiple times to flash the changes and they appear to stay. The Aux switch option does show up on the radio. I have no errors on the dash at all.

Any thoughts? Any other fuses i can check? For those that have had issues with the connectors for the orange wire in teh footwell, they seemed to have gotten an ESS error code on the dash at star–up. I have also double-checked the wiring going into the connector at the aux switches to be sure I put them in the correct numbers.

Are you certain the connections on the back of the switches themselves got plugged in?

Sorry I don’t have anything better.

Edit: never mind I reread and saw you double checked that.
