I just had dealer install the mopar lights and they wired to Aux 1 but directions clearly state to use Aux 3 or 4 only. Seems to be working fine. Does it matter?

It does not really matter. 1 & 2 are for higher amperage accessories (like a winch), 3 & 4 are for lower amperage (like lights). It just means the circuit breakers for 1 & 2 have a higher threshold for being tripped by a short or whatever.

I’d have the dealer move them to 3 or 4. The 1 and 2 wire gauge is thicker and the fuses are higher amps so your expensive Mopar lights aren’t protected against power surge or a short like the Mopar engineers intended. If you installed them yourself and used switch 1 or 2, there’s a good chance a dealer wouldn’t honor their one year warranty if one or both of them burned out. Why risk it?
